Every Punch publican has a dedicated Punch Development Manager (PDM) who will be your personal point of contact, with local experience and wider industry knowledge. You’ll get regular visits, advice on growing your business and competing in the market.

Punch provides the most comprehensive back office and business support service in the industry. Our 16 specialist support teams cover everything from catering and marketing to logistics, legal and financial services. We make it easy for you to get in touch, by phone or online, as and when you need us, and many of our services are provided free of charge or at cost.

Training & development
Punch offers an all-encompassing programme of training and ongoing professional development for our publicans. Our flexible programme is the most comprehensive in the industry, and can be tailored to you and your team. From essential pre-qualifications such as your personal licence and food safety certification, to our exclusive three-step launch programme, Ready for Business, we make sure you have the skills you need from day one. After that, we offer a wide range of free or subsidised ongoing training, including business workshops and the industry’s first Apprenticeship scheme.
Taking on a Punch pub requires a financial investment on your part, which includes ingoing payments for stock, fixtures and fittings, and a deposit. We can talk you through the various options to suit your business plan, and the wide range of pubs available allows you to find premises that are affordable.
